Short biography

Soufiene Djahel got his PhD degree in computer science in December 2010 from university of Lille1. During his PhD, he was working within MISC research group under supervision of Prof. Farid Naït-Abdesselam, since December 2007. Prior to that, he was an engineer researcher at INRIA Nord Europe research center from July to December 2007. He has obtained his Magister degree, with majors in networking and distributed systems, from University of Abderrahmane-mira, Bejaia in February 2007 and an engineer diploma in computer science from University of Badji-Mokhtar, Annaba in June 2004. The research interests of Soufiene Djahel lie in the field of routing protocols security in MANETs and WMNs, MAC layer misbehavior detection and security threats in vehicle-to-vehicle networks. He is member of IEEE and a reviewer of many conferences and journals in networking and security field.
